The clients brief was to create a water feature and enclosed courtyard that would create a “Balinese” theme to showcase artifacts collected in their travels.

“Floating” stepping stones, a sculptural waterfall, corten steel “moongate”, “fortress” doors and curved timber, bamboo panel walls and extensive pond created a protective sanctum and soothing reflective ambiance reminiscent of another world.

So successful was the end result it has gained much media attention and is very photogenic.
